On Sunday, November 18th, Mile High Elite competed in their first ever All-Star competition! Mile High competed two teams, a Junior Level 2 team as well as a Senior Level 2 team.

The Juniors were the first team to warm-up. They had the support of the Seniors as they ran through their tumbling, jumps and stunts. They were nervous, but after a pep talk from their coaches, they were ready to leave it all on the mat. The Juniors hit a solid routine that they felt great about.

No long after, the Seniors were in the warm-up area, prepping for their routine. Like the Juniors, they were having first competition jitters. But they went out and performed their routine, making sure to keep the energy up the entire team.

Both teams were told to go out on the mat and have fun. And that is what they did. Both teams received a 5th place finish, leaving them both hungry for the next competition. WSA is the next competition for both teams. As we look forward, we know what we need to improve on and what we need to clean.

Congratulations to the 2012-2013 Mile High Elite Mustangs for putting the first trophies in Mile High Elite. They did great and should feel proud of their performances at the UCA Mile High Regional Competition.

Also, one of Mile High Elite’s own All-Star team performed for the first time last night at the Spirit Invitational. They did great and are gearing up for their first competition on Sunday, November 18th. They are just as excited to represent Mile High Elite in the 2012-2013 competition season.
